"you shouldn't need to delete your save data. just download your map packs, the save data and game data are two different things. i believe. if you'd like to go back to 3.55 there's a tutorial for it." (Y2K) Well, all we're dealing with is GameData here. Map Packs are GameData and patches are GameData.

"1.Replace modded patch with original mw2 patch 2.install the maps again 3.put your modded patch back on Just incase !! but should be ok " (wright55) I can't coz I updated to 3.56 so i dont have any way to put files on or take files off.

I finally figured it out! The reason they weren't werking was because I was on FW3.55 and the latest version is 3.56 so I just updated my system and it worked perfectly! But now I have run into another problem where I lost both the Map Packs and my custom patch is on my system. I would like to re-download the packs but I don't know wheth...

Map Packs over patch

If your PS3's region is France, then you need the french files. However, if your PS3's region is US then you don't need the french files. All they are is language packs for different cutscenes and stuff.

Maybe it's not werking coz I am still on CFW GH3.55. And the newest version is 3.56

I have someone's edit of Mossy's V9 patch.

I have a few questions about this... 1. What is the difference between the "CFW" and the "Prepatched" and which one do I use to update CFW GH3.55? 2. Does this make it so I can run Backups without installing PKGs? 3. In order to update from CFW GH3.55, do I have to go back to OFW 3.55 or can I just straight update?

Well, when I get my backup able to play, I will delete the french dir, see what happens, and report back.

I actually tried that a while ago and nothing happened when I pressed [UP] while in a splitscreen match.
