well what you need to do is go into cydia let it load (i know it slow pisses me off two) next click on manage along base menu bar next click sources then click add (Add repo666.ultrasn0w.com) the o in Snow is a 0 zero. hit yes confirm it let it install then hit done in the top right corner and then go down your list till you see repo666.ultrasn0w.com click on it and install the only package ultra snow and then it should say reboot device. Reboot then insert your sim of choice and your set

ultrasn0w inly works on the olerbootroms. you'll brick you iphone if you dont have the right baseband.

download fuzzyband of cydia or rock to see if it will work for you before you brick your device.

As far as I know it is not possible to unlock the 3.1.3... I know a guy who was a phone technician for Verizon, and he runs a big iphone unlocking business where I'm at, and even on his Craigs List AD, he's stated you can not unlock 3.1.3, and you'll have to wait till 3.1.4 comes out, because the 3.1.3 baseband is not unlockable. He's a very trustworthy guy, and he even gets business through the T-Mobile store here, people there refer people that come in with iPhone problems to him.. And I've talked with him a few times, done business with him. Sorry to troll, but I would not recommend anyone to attempt messing with the 3.1.3 FW.

I'm just stating, do not try to unlock your 3.1.3 FW. It's not possible. And as you can see, this guy that started the thread, is now banned. Can you really trust him?

If you have a iphone with firmware 3.1.3 on it or if you have a base band of 5.12.01 you are out of luck. There is no unlock for it and there will not be. An unlock will only be available once firmware 3.1.4 or higher is release. Before you call me and ask yes you may be able to downgrade your firmware and that will allow it to be jailbroken but you cannot unlock it so that is useless.
