Install Tiny unbrella then run it with ipod attached to see if you can restore to a lower firmware, if you can download custom ispw file (google it) then put phone in recovery mode and install through itunes (hold shift and update, select custome ispw file) then You must login or register to view this content. from mobile safari will jailbreak it in about 2min

Use Greenp0ison to Jailbreak it.

When I ran my un-jailbroken iphone 4 through tiny umbrella It showed all shsh from 4.0 I was on 4.1 at the time and was able to downgrade.
