Its on beta now its coming!!
The iPhone Dev Team have kind of missed the Christmas deadline to release the untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak. The new version of Mac and Windows based tool – redsn0w is expected to jailbreak all new generation of devices – iPad, iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G. Though the jailbreak isn’t ready for public release the iPhone Dev Team has laid out plans for some private testing iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak.
But The iPhone Dev Team have just confirmed that the latest Beta4 update that was released yesterday will help you to untether you iOS 4.2.1 devices and with the latest update you can now jailbreak into your iPhone 4 and install external apps. The update will help you jailbreak into all your iOS 4.2.1 devices and that include the iPhone 4, iPad and iPod Touch (4th generation, of course).
This is only applicable for Mac users at the moment and those who wish to use it with Windows will have to wait a bit longer. While the Beta version of Redsn0w .9.7b4 already came out a week ago, the bugs made the process complicated and definitely not something everyone could try. But with the current update, you can go ahead with the jailbreak of your favorite Apple devices and install external apps.
Some say its due this weekend some say next week just keep your eyes peeled for the new jailbreak!!
