Lookout Mobile Security has named the new trojan virus as "the most sophisticated Android malware so far". The virus, named Geinimi, was made in china, like many of Wal-Mart's toys. It can easily access your phone via pirated apps.

Once installed, the phone can be controlled by a remote server. Luckily, Geinimi is only hidden in Chinese app stores.

Obviously, though, apps in the Google-controlled marketplace are not affected in any way whatsoever.

I read about it a while before. Apparently it also has full access to the root, so it can easily be deleted.

No Root = No Phone = Back to the shop = Pay.
