(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Phone gurus, I need help.

I have an iPhone 4, didn't love it quite as much as when I got my 3g, and since it is on 4.0 and unlocked, I can fetch $700 give or take for it. I would like to try out a top end Android phone, and it seems these two are the cutting edge right now. I can get a grandfathered unlimited data plan.

I'd like to know if I should just go pick up a HTC Inspire 4G right now for $99, or wait a week or two and get the Motorola Atrix 4G for $100 more. The Moto has the Tegra 2 and I assume a seperate graphics unit, so it seems much more powerful. I'd like some opinions on either phone, I'm leaning towards the Moto now though.

Or, should I skip this series of "4G" phones(not REAL 4G) and wait for other phones to come out or the Playstation phone everyone's been talking about? I don't think the PS phone is for AT&T though, correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks!

My thoughts is that the inspire is a very nice phone but will be overshadowed by the atrix. But me personal i would go with the Inspire.
Here is a review You must login or register to view this content. you could also wait for them to release a atrix review to compare but they do have the unboxing of the phone and laptop.

I've actually gotten the Inspire already, and the battery really sucks, can barely get through a day of use. I'll see how it goes, but I might have to switch back to my i4.

Its really a matter of preference for the OS.
The Inspire is a great phone with all the new features of 2.2, but I was too spoiled by the iPhone's 2-3 day battery life. It has to do with the smaller screen of the i4, and when I compare the the two, the Inspire's screen blows away the iPhone.

Also, there is free tethering with the Inspire, through a seperate APN for now, and if AT&T patches/fixes it then rooting will bring tethering back. Hopefully when 4G launches, the speeds will be fast enough to play black ops on. The speed on 3g is manageable right now when tethered to my PC.

DEF the HTC inspire 4G. Htc sense user interface is great. 4g isnt very widespread right now. I have the HTC evo 4G. The inspire is like it's brother along with the HTC thunderbolt 4g that just came out on verizon which is the fastest phone on the market right now. But the Inspire would be the best choice. Android market is great , I don't know if your an angry birds fan but that's on android free along with alot of great apps. :mudkip:
