Ok so last night i rooted my droid (the motorola droid 1) and everything went smoothly. Then this morning i downloaded cyanogen from an app called rom manager and installed it. The installation went smoothly untill the phone rebooted. Not im stuck on this screen no matter what i do
Did you run a backup before you flashed Cyanogen? Also did you do a full wipe before hand? By that I mean did you wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik-cache? If you did not wipe that is the reason you are having this problem. You need to boot your phone into the custom recovery for a chance to repair it. Try this method, if this does not work I suggest you try searching the XDA site. "Boot the phone into recovery mode by pressing and holding down the X key on the physical keyboard and the Power, until the Droid screen display a exclamation mark (!) in triangle." Once you are in recovery perform a full wipe and try flashing Cyanogen again. Hope this helps!
yes always flash through clockworkmod and always do a data reset, so make sure you have your apps backed up..your going to have to boot back into recovery
