iPod Touch 1G cannot update to iOS 4.2.1. Greenpois0n only works with 4.2.1. :\

You'll need to find a jailbreak that matches your firmware.

Does ur ipod have a speaker or does it have bluetooth? if it has both then your iPod is 2g, 3g, 3gs, or 4g if it does not havve those then it is a iPod Touch 1g

DONT ! jailbreakme.com in your touch's browser should work. if not try redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 and give it a stock 3.1.2 fw (i know your on 3.1.3) and it should work
