quick question what does rooting do to your android... i rooted my android Nexus S 4G from google sprint but idont find anything to b amazed off i think
Why would you root if you didn't know what it did?
It makes it faster (with the ability to overclock the cpu)
Much more customization options.
And people say it increases battery life. (I don't see it).

Actually thats and older post but now im more accustomed to the rooting but still up to this date i dont see much of a point towards rooting besided having free apps and customizing your bootloader.
Fortunatly, i have people who are well learners like yourself who teaches other so i thank you again.

You can actually download apps for free without a root. Using You must login or register to view this content. and type the name of the app with (.apk) at the end and downloading. But to custonize the boot you do need a root. Have you flashed a new ROM yet?
