(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have one of these phone and i try to connect to the wifi it says 'obtaining ip address from Belkin_N1_Wireless_3EC02A'
I dont know why this is happening but its really annoying i want to update but it will use all my data and i dont want that
My settings on internet are Security Mode = WPA/WPA2-Personal(PSK)
Authentication = WPA-PSK
Encryption Technique = TKIP
Password(PSK) > = ***.....
Can someone help me please!! Smile

Also its on Andriod version 2.3.4
HTC Sense version 3.0
Has Anyone got a link to andriod 4? that will work for this phone, will instrusions on how to install?

I had this on my Xperia X10. Is the phone rooted and running a custom ROM? If it is then try a different ROM and update from that, if not try rooting and installing the official update via a recovery menu.

I have no idea what rooting is, its effects etc.. so id rather not to that any other way?

ok so its definately not rooted, try doing a static IP setup.

i recommend going to your local coffee shop or something ( a place where they have an open WiFi connection so you can connect to it) and try to connect to their WiFi if you can't connect it is the phones problem if you can it is your WiFi s problem.

I accually phoned both htc and belkin; htc said it was the router, belkin tried to help but it was pakistanies and i couldnt handle myself on the phone they were so annoying so i think im just going to throw a 100 pound router out the window useless :/ thanks anyway; i tried everything htc told me too, im just going to update the phone in a friends house and see if that will fix it...
