I like installing custom roms but it seems harder to do on HTC phones plus you have to unlock the bootloader yourself. I have had good experience with samsung phones and I don't know if I should try something different. Does anybody have any advice on which would be better for me?

I Have the Galaxy s 3 for Sprint and i love it, No lag whatsoever and has been a perfect phone, Sprint is fast too, Galaxy is the best phone out there right now.

That's what I was thinking. It's too bad it doesn't have a quad core processor in the US though.

Yeah i know, but tbh, dual core processor is still just as good as any other phone in the US. Infact, i ran a benchmark and my device (Samsung Galaxy s 3) was on the top of the HTC one X. But you can go with the HTC one X if it is more your style.

I like the look of the Evo 4G LTE but I've had such good experiences with samsung phones that I don't want to switch to anything else. Also no removable battery is a problem for me. I like installing custom roms and on numerous occasions I've had to remove the battery and boot the phone into clockwork mod recovery.

I like more HTC than samsung.

i have the HTC EVO 4G and its amazing it would be perfect if yo could have itunes but you can still use amazon for music. Pretty good phone overall

Samsung Galaxy S3 is better i think
