Worth the Weight
Been using the S3 for a bit longer than a week. I have to say that there's a few complaints that I might have with it.

First, the OLED screen is very dim in sunlight. However even the North American LTE variant with a dual core Snapdragon S4 and 2GB of RAM is very speedy. The occasional hiccup I notice has more to do with the software rather than the hardware. I am waiting patiently for Jellybean because of "Project Butter". I really can't wait to get my hands on Jellybean and do some testing on it. I think that the S4 CPU is more powerful than the one in the iPhone 5, however it's just that I think ICS is screwing it up for the SIII.

I really wish that Samsung stopped with the touchwiz and I wish that every android phone gave you the option of installing the overlay or not.

But nevertheless, the phone is fast, big and has way more features than the iPhone 5. Once Jellybean is out I think that the S3 will kill any smartphone. Google Now > Siri

So I guess the best phone that I've used so far is the S3. But the One X gets a close second for me.

The best phone is my Galaxy Nexus. Just the fact that it is a Nexus/developer phone makes it the best phone. I am able to get the latest updates immediately and have the best dev support for when Verizon decides to be an ass and take 2 months to approve an update that has no affect to them.

Just saying that stock rom's aren't always the best, and sometimes community rom's, are way better. Any Galaxy S only has a 2 year support from Google, true, because they always wanna sell the next model, but still, I'd rather have my S1 and S3 than a Nexus.

I prefer the One X but spec wise the S3 beats it. The best Android phone is going to be the HTC One X+ beings it will be the first ever quad core LTE phone.

First of all, I'm simply stating support. The general consumer does not generally know about Android versions so as long as the phone works, it's fine. But someone like me who is a Flashaholic, I constantly flash updates for my GNex (AOKP and Franco's Kernel.) And no phone but a Nexus phone gets support from Google. Each iteration of Android is designed for that years Nexus. The Galaxy S or any other phone form any other OEM is not supported by Google and is only supported by the manufacturer, in this case Samsung. OEMs typically don't support phones that well. I was running Eclair on my Fascinate for MONTHS until Samsung decided to update almost half a year after Froyo came out (never did get Gingerbread I believe.) But I wised up and flashed MIUI, so no wait for me. All phones wait, OEMs stated select phones would be updated to 4.04 by at least Q3 and it's Q4. And some phones not getting updates aren't even a year old. It's a shame that in order to get at least/over a year of support you need a Nexus, but it's not the fault of Android, blame the OEMs who just want to save money.
