New iPhone has a 1 GHz processor, the S3 has a quad core 1.5 GHz processor.

the iphone may just appear faster because the software is more optimized for the hardware but in my opinion the s3 is better

Just to start this off I'll say that I have the S3 and I prefer it over the iPhone.

GHz means nothing when it comes to processors. The iPhone CPU is faster as proven in numerous benchmarks across the board, when you compare it to the dual core (not quad core) 1.5GHz chip. The quad core 1.4GHz international variant does beat the S3, obviously.

The s3 is wayyy better imo

tried iphone 4 and have SGS3... no way... Galaxy is better for my requirements
