Over the past couple of weeks, the European Commission has made it clear that it's none too happy with Samsung over the company's recent attempts to get the popular Apple products banned in Europe. It is no question that both Apple and Samsung have been locked in a fierce legal battle throughout the last few years. It isn't just Apple and Samsung that are the only tech giants pursuing legal actions against each other however, it seems like the entire industry is seeing how far they can push legal boundaries. It seems that Samsung however have pushed them boundaries and tried to go further, far enough that many companies have reported Samsung for their actions.

Perhaps in anticipation of the European Commission's move, Samsung withdrew its request to have the iPhone and iPad banned in Europe earlier this month. In a statement, it cited a willingness to

Samsung isn’t the only company to be penalized. The Google-owned smartphone company Motorola Mobility may face similar penalties over its attempts to ban sales of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 through its use of standard essential patents relating to Wi-Fi and the H.264 video standard. Both Samsung and Google could additionally receive fines in the United states as well.

Interesting. Honestly I don't care for Apple but pushing a ban to create a monopoly is just a big NO. :/

Well that sucks, that's a lot of money over one lawsuit.
