(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU, i needed some advise on which phone to get, Samsung Galaxy S III or Galaxy Nexus? I've been doing my research to find which one is better, I've done the comparisons in terms of power, performance and etc... So far i feel they both are worth it, so it's been a really hard choice for me. Other things i was curious about was, I heard Samsung Galaxy S III NA version is not root able, but the nexus is. I do want to root it for roms ( for Pokemon of course!) , but can i get .APK files without rooting? if so, rooting isn't a big problem than. So this is what i am looking for in a phone between these two.

1. Must be powerful, has no problems ( e.x Shutting down issues or update issues).
2. Battery must be long lasting.
3. Can downloading .APK files and games easily ( Of course can run them perfectly too)
4. Is updated frequently ( Not a big concern through).
5. Visually pleasant to look at
6. Has large amount of space for lots of games and music

Please give me your honest opinion, i'll count which one gets more votes by Saturday and will buy the winner!!!!!

The S3 is much more powerful than the last-gen Nexus and is easy to root. I am running Cyanogenmod 10.1 on my North American version of the S3. I have no problems whatsoever with it.

And yes, you can get .apk files without having to root. There's just a setting that you have to uncheck in the settings menu with relation to the installation of non-playstore apps. After you disable that, you can install all of the free apk's you want. I have been doing it for ages before I decided to root my device. It works like a charm.

My suggestion is to get the S3. It's a much more powerful device.
