(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I'm SteamyModding, this thread is about CFG, this may be kind of useless to you if you already passed CFG with a modded console, but that is why the title has OFW in, the reason for the making of this is because I went on MW2 yesterday and noticed no one was modding? So now I'm deciding to be a party pooper and hopefully people from those lobbies eventually find this post, anyway let's get into it.

ps: I won't be providing any links, sorry

First, here's what you need;

A brain.
A Computer/Laptop
A USB (not a phone)
A PS3 (can be any type)


So here's how you will start; you will want to go on to your computer/laptop and go to google or what ever search engine you prefer and there are 2 options from now, you easy choose to go to YouTube or you can just search it, either way you are searching the same thing, so what you want to do is type CFG Menus and find one you like and then download it.

Step 2: Once you have a CFG Menu you like downloaded, drag it to your desktop, it can be in multiple formats, most probably a folder that in in an archive, if so you are going to want to download WinRar, WinZip or Win7 to extract it into a folder, however it could just be a regular CFG File, if it isn't already, rename it to buttons_default

Step 3: you are going to want to open the file to double check it has some coding in, if not you need to get another menu, but anyway once you have your cfg from your desktop, plug your USB in if it isn't already, and then open it till it's at the base (the actual drive possibly like E:\ or what ever port it is in) and then drag the buttons_default.cfg in and what ever files it included! from this part, you are done.

Step 4: the tricky part, finding people who CFG. This could be really hard, or really easy, you can go online and look for modders, usually in SnD or TDM (Search and Destroy or Team Death Match) and once you find one you will want to add them, and ask them for a CFG Infection, if all goes well they will invite you into a lobby with a modded map, make sure it is actually legit, not some derank or you won't be very happy because your ranked could be high and you just lost it.

Step 5: after getting the infection, back out to split screen and make a new account and if it goes well, you should have the map you saw in the other guys lobby. So now you are going to want to click Game Setup and then turn PSN unlocks on or (correct me of I'm wrong because I don't have an xbox) XBOX unlocks on, once you have done that don't mess around with anything and just start the game. Now when you are in the game choose your class and press SELECT (what is this on XBOX) and UP on the DPAD and it should work. If it doesn't you have done something wrong in the USB Process, but if it works.... HAPPY MODDING

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS "INFECTION" IS NOT GOING TO LAST FOREVER AND YOU WILL LOSE IT WHEN YOU NEXT GO OFF THE GAME, WHAT I USED TO DO IS HOST CFG INFECTIONS FOR MY FRIENDS AND WHEN I WOULD ASK THEY WOULD GIVE ME IT.

Some menus have this. The newer mod menus made by more experienced people such as MayhemModding have found a fix for this. Those mod menus haven't been updated so they will have that issue. I would recommend using MayhemModding's mod menus.
