I guess these are bugs in the patch but when im in the menu the screen will go black and white or just completely black

im new to this and im unable to find away to get the patch to work on my ps3 ive downloaded and extracted it with winrar but i think im doing it wrong please help.

Looking forward to v6 but in v5 can u teleport people to ur crosshairs? And this is by far my favorite menu but is there anyway to put blackrain v9.36 in whitewater v6?! That would be awesome !!
