I've tried editing a patch, got a black screen and thought alright no big deal, probably didn't code it right. Tried many different things then it got kinda ridiculous. So I ended up just converting a regular patch_mp , non modded, to xbox. Put it in ffViewer, DIDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING. Converted it back to PS3, put it back on my PS3 and still got black screen. Are these programs corrupt or out of date? Any replies with suggestions or programs that work will be appreciated and +repped. Im BLUS30377 BTW. Thanks.

This tool can convert PS3 to XBOX, XBOX to PS3, PS3 to PC, and XBOX to PC.
PS3 to PC and XBOX to PC dumps all .gsc files to app\gscdump folder.

This tool can also convert regions.
BLUS30377 and BLES00683 are the same.

All the files created with this tool will be saved in the app (application) folder and need to be removed before next use. If for any reason you get an error during the conversion process, go to your c: drive and delete the folder c:\patch-temp. This application asumes you have a c: drive and will not work, if you do not have a c: drive.

PS3 patches that were created by injecting with packzip may or may not extract or convert. This is because when packzip injects, it leaves scrambled data at the end the file causing zlib errors. In order to use patches created with the above method, you will have to paste the .gsc's into ffviewer and save. After that the patch will work with this tool.

To find out if this tool will work with your packziped patch_mp.ff files, use the PS3 to PC option. If all the .gsc files are extracted. this tool will work.

that's your problem you don't need to convert 1.14 patches in order to edit them you just need a 1.14 editer
Try geting a clean 1.14 patch or a modded one unconverted and use this to edit itYou must login or register to view this content. hope i helped

everytime i use this it turns my patch into an xbox patch

Converting a patch to Xbox works fine with this tool. However, it will NOT work when converting to PS3. Use NBK's FF Tool instead.

I guess you can't convert 1.14 Patches:/
