Killer you're wrong.... doesn't have to be ram, most file/text/code editors use offsets, I can't really explain it. HxD for example uses offsets.

Well in this case it could be eboot and such aswell, but generally it's ram. It would be the most common for PS3 in terms of RTE AFAIK.

A offset is information that is used by the address provided. Similar to a hex value.

I am new to the ps3 modding scene, so I dont know what disassembler people are using the read the ram and edit it. If anyone could help me out, I'd like to get back into modding.. (Ps i dont have a jailbroken ps3)
