You mean if you delete the default_mp.self on the CFW then data transfer over to your OFW will you be on bypass? If that is what you mean then yes, you will be...

Well dl version or not it still has to install the game data for the game right to be on the current update, so as long as you data transfer over the patch and removed the default_mp.self file I am pretty sure it will still put you on bypass.. Its the same concept except you are running the game right from the hard drive instead of off a disc.
