But my problem is that i really want to jailbrake my PS3 and get all those cool patched i see in the forum. My problem is that i really don't now how to do it i watched some youtube videos but i find them pretty misleading since they are really old and all the comments say that it doesn't work etc. because of old update and stuff. I really want to learn by this community.

I only got one PS3 and in the videos i've seen they have all use two PS3's, i've heard that you can do it with one to and i guess thats right. What I am asking is really just a guide to do it and how to get those cool patches, not cfg's.

One more question if you got your PS3 jailbroken and stuff would you then have to be infected each and every time you log on?

wich firmware your on?
if your above 3.55 you cant jailbreak without a flashing device

first you need to be on 3.55 OR LOWER!!!! 3.56 or higher is not possible

you can do it on 1 ps3 but the risk to get banned is very high

Hi i checked on my PS3 and i om on 4.40. I also found out that my brother has a PS3 but i want work with any types of games just alle the other stuff. Would this be a problem? Do you also got a link to a video which is kind of new that i can watch (i could find it my self, but i found lots of them misleading :S). And is it hard? lol

you cant JB over 3.55 so no point in trying you will be downloading viruses

But can i in some way degrade my system?

You can try downgrade but you would have to go to alot of trouble

You can use an E3 Flasher or ProgSkeet depending on if your PS3 is NOR or NAND. Just buy a PS3 with 3.55 off of Ebay.

totally agree i would just buy a new one rather than going through alot of trouble to downgrade and at that it might not work lol
