When i start up the game, and press on multiplayer, it just freezes, or when it doesn't freeze, it simply doesn't work in private match (even though it shows other things like "ZuroModz Patch" on the loading screen. Try another patch, or the one you have is broken.

I've tried like ten different patches, it must be me.

Yeah maybe the mw2 disk or something your doing wrong in file Zilla

Make sure there the same size and region

1. Convert to your game Region
2. Make Sure Button Layout is on default
