I watched allot of tutorials and what i have understood is that all i need to do is download a upatat.pup file(the 4.46.1update) and upgrade my ps3? then download a program to go online ?

If this is correct will my jailbreak remain?

Not if you are in Ofw 3.55 have to install an CFW 3.55 (kmeaw) after install a pkg called Toggle qa and press X, done that you can install any CFW that u want, if you want to use Hack you install an CFW 4.65 after install one Spoof 4.66 and can go on line (all these files are available on the Internet) careful not to be banned.
