So you are asking how to bypass? Just install the original patch you want (1.14 in this case) then copy and paste the 1.11 patch_mp.ff file to replace the 1.14 patch_mp. Then to prevent it from asking you to update the game, delete the default_mp file (I believe it was called default_mp but could be named something different).

Delete "default_mp.self".
