Putting a patch on a ps3 requires you to have a jailbroken ps3. If you have one then follow these steps.

1. Get the patch of your choice
2. Open up mulitman on ps3 and initilize ftp server
3. Open filezilla on a laptop or pc
4. Connect your ps3 by putting in the ip being displayed on your ps3 in the host box in Filezilla and your port in the port box
5. Navigate to dev_hdd0 when connected
6. Click game
7. Then region code (mine is bles00354)
6. Click USRDIR
7. Click english
8. And place your patch in that folder

And your done
