I tried to ask this question on the forum a few months back but it got no response I am trying to bypass to I can play a 1.11 patch on MW2, so I followed multiple tutorials they all say the same:

1.install 1.14
2. delete default.mp.self
3. paste patch
4. play

However, when I do this and select ''multiplayer'' my game goes black and returns to the ps3 xmb? I have no problem playing 1.14 patches (so without bypass) but this keeps giving me troubles?
