If you have a jailbroken ps3 you can just replace the patch_mp.ff with a new one using a file viewer.
If you are on ofw ps3 you need to use a backup with the patch in it.

Also, google, youtube etc for finding out stuff is a good idea

I figured it out after a couple minutes but now am having another problem the game isn't starting anymore no matter WHAT i do...

You probably have wrong eboot or your patch is fucked up
