I post this thread because i want say to the community the problem with the RTE Name Change.

FAKA_ELITE has released some offsets for change your name , so i'll explain something.

When you change your name in Pre-game , and someone try to add your account with the name changed , he lose all friends on their account.

Not cool, right ?

i don't know how it's possible but it's real , when i have played with friends online with my new account , they have lose their friends when they have tried to add my account.

So , try to use this only for fun in private match. If you use this online , some guys will try to add your account and they'll say you have hacked their account.

On xbox , we don't have this problem.
If you change your name in game , it's not a problem.


Solution ? :

- If you have this problem on your account , try to delete it , and recovered your account from the SEN server. (i don't have tested)

Some guys Add me and thers Ps3 freeze some seconds on XMB, but no one lose friends list....I did try it right now with a guy.

You're right it happened with two persons tried to add me but not losing firends list its just a freeze for few minutes then they went to XMB,

What happens if only friends of friends can add me? That's what mine is on.

Idk if the problem is when you add the account in game or what but 3 friends have the problem :|

I actually tested this earlier to see what would happen, all it did was say "Sending, Please Wait" It was on that message for a while so I quit to XMB, I still have all friends though.

That happened to me too

if you change your name with RTE does it revert back to your old name or stays what you changed it too?
