I wanted to try using some of the DEX only mod menus and what not since the only CEX menu I could find was Project Milk and unfortunatly it's too laggy for me to use :/ (Kudos for the dev for trying though ) I have a LEGIT copy of MW3 that is download from the psn store (a friend of a friend's account, Only signed in to download it to avoid getting it banned or anything, also im still on my first console id and i got the console for Christmas) before I converted to DEX and put a debug eboot I could use it just fine but after the switch and adding a debug ebbot I get an error "An error occoured during the start operation 80029530"when trying to launch it from the XMB. (I didn't try launching it before adding a debug eboot btw....) I have tried 2 diffrent debug eboots from 2 diffrent sources including one from NGU. Could anyone help a poor noob to DEX? Thanks in advance. BTW I'm on 4.50 PS3ITA or whatever it is called.

And before anyone can say "OMG U NOOB Y DO U MAKE A THREAD WHEN U CAN JUST GOOGLE IT!!!! OMG UR SO DUMB UR KIND RUINS THIS FORUM" I tried looking for why the error occours and a solution but I think this is a unique case as I have only seen things about PS2 games and Minecraft.

UPDATE: Going to try to launch the game via multiman (i am a total noob to multiman since i never used it before to try to make my console id last) hopefully i can figure it out, currently i am moving the dev_hdd0/game/NPPUBXXXXXX to dev_hdd0/games/MW3 im going to rename the NPUBXXXX to PS3_GAME. when its done i hope it works DDDDD i have the disc version of mw3 but my disc drive isnt working i have watched some multiman tutorials so hopefully i can figure it out

Yes it's the NPUB version as it is bought from the store, I know I put the eboot in the correct place since I did it with a force host eboot when I was on CEX. (dev_hdd0/game/NPUBXXXX/USRDIR) and I got an error message whilst trying to start it :/ I believe it's that I'm trying to use a debug eboot... I torrented MW3 last night ([bold]NOT[/bold] WAREZ I OWN THE DISC, MY BLUERAY DRIVE IS F***ED!!!) I'm going to try that and I'll update with results

EDIT: its the us version from the store, its NPUB-30377 if i remember correctly. I don't think the region matters with debug eboots correct???

UPDATE: I got it all working now, I got MW3 mounted (i think mounted anyway.... i have to click it on multiman then launch from the APP_HOME thing....) and I THINK I have a debug eboot, time to learn how to use TMAPI or whatever the heck all that is... im used to CCAPI.... I appreciate you trying to help me kind sir.
