can anyone teamview me and help me through this or teach me so next time i can fix myself?

Try this:
In the directory of your project which is 99% of the time:
C: \...\Visual Studio 2012\Projects\NAME

instead of opening the .sln file located there, go into the folder:
C: \...\Visual Studio 2012\Projects\NAME\NAME
and try opening the .csproj file
