No, mw3 stopped banning years ago, might pay to do some research on google before asking on here.

Thanks .. I did research but all I get is you get banned if u go online.. So I just wanted to make sure from NGU before I start messing with my PS3..Thanks

i think that mw3 doesnt ban your accounts but its one of the game that doesn't have any demoware bypass so when i would mod online i think i got ban from from it but if i use psn patch it seem as i didnt get ban so quick but with all that said modding get you logged on a list which get you ban anyway so if you dont want to get ban dont mod.

Well of course, you could get banned. While it's extremely unlikely to get banned from modding on MW3 since the game is old and pretty much forgotten about it is still possible to get banned. You are still modifying the PS3's file system as well as the games. Hope my answer could be of some help Smile.

Their is always a chance of getting banned from PSN since you are on a CFW (Custom Fimware) PS3, but actually getting banned on the game is Not very likely to happen.
