First off you need a jailbroken PS3 for this, thats where all the talk about CEX and DEX comes in, but if you have an OFW you are on CEX. I havent been on Mw3 in a while, but im pretty sure that Mw3 Menus are tools, so you just connect and attach, then run, and you are good to go.

Why not use a non srpx menu?

Different types of mod menus.

RTM - Simply connect and attach then load up the menu
SPRX - Just put the .sprx in your tmp folder and the EBOOT.BIN in the game region/USRDIR folder
GSC - Don't think there are any for MW3
