No and you should never try to mod on OFW.

Unlike people on CFW, you cannot spoof your console ID, or use a anti-ban, so more than likely you will get your console banned then your PS3 is trash and cant go online anymore. Just buy a jailbreak or pay a modder to mod a game for you.

Well then just continue to play normally.

Because if you keep messing around with USB Mods on OFW for games that you usually need a jailbreak then your PS3 will get console banned then you wont have anything to play on.

Well that's all you can do. Other than that is save modding.

Yeah i know i'm just trying to deter him from trying it on any game in the future. I've heard too many stories of Console bans because of GTA usb menus and such.

Well GTA is much different but yeah long story short he'll need a CFW.
