Well, the original promod adjusted the gun_x axis instead of the fov function/option. And most people like mysel,f like a gun farther away from the screen to get a better perspective, larger field of view so you can see who's in front of you. It also provides a sorta realist vibe, but then again... It's call of duty

Gotcha. I'll admit..the default fov is just a bit too close. If the default is 60, maybe something like 70/75 would be ideal.

Another reason I asked is I know on mw3 they used it to get a quicker aim and almost cheat with it.

Agreed! Everytime i go into a cod game if i have the option to switch my fov to 75 it'd be perfect. anything over would be a little too much.

Yea, the default view is just a bit too close. Yet the actual hack is too much. They really should let you set your own.

They do on PC dont they?

I don't know..never got to play it on pc.
