This weeks theme is 3D Artwork.

This week is for all those people who are much better at 3D artwork than making signatures. One example is Messiah. Please follow the size limits still, so everything still looks nice in the poll. Keep to the same rules.[/SIZE]

I think it's about time for the 3D experts to have a go at SOTW. Many programs can be used but from what I know 3DS Max and Cinema4D are good programs to use, or even if your good enough make a 3D signature in Photoshop or GIMP, I have seen Helios make a good sig from it.

Ah ok then, I'll just try next week instead. Can I ask though why wouldnt you accept it anyway, its 3D isnt it... you say make something like the other entries but they seem to be mainly text pieces. I created a 3D looking image from a 2D photo... just because the text is 2d... well anyway, doesnt matter, I'll try something else next week.

I assume it wasn't accepted because it was premade which if you direct your attention to the opening post of the Entries thread it clearly states as a rule.

Sorry for this late reply (especially for those who have already submitted their entries), but I just want to give a heads up and tip that if you ever want to work with 3D text designing, Adobe Illustrator is a good start-up for you. :y:

Well he said at the start of his post that it sounded like it was premade which I guess it was technically, but then after he said he 'wouldnt have accepted it anyway' so I was just curious as to why he thought it wasnt a 3D piece...
