Hey mates, I just thought I'd post about a game that's been around for the last decade. I've played it for a long time, on and off, and some of you are bound to have heard of it.
The game is Digital Paint: Paintball2. It is a free, online mulitplayer, first person, paintball shooter.
The graphics are nothing special at all and are not bound to impress many here, but the game becomes a bit addictive once you start playing it.
The game has none of the rank up or unlock systems that can make a game tedious, which allows you to jump right into the game and play on the same level as any other player.
There are endless numbers of maps, which allow you to play Capture the flag, Free for all, Team death match, and various other game types.
This game might not appeal to alot of hardcore gamers, but for a gamer like me who doesn't mind a, let's say, "retro" game, this will be a keeper. This game also runs well on older and less capable computers, allowing almost ANYONE to run this game on their computer. And at 25.4MB and another 10 to 15 for extra maps, this game takes up very little harddrive space.
This game, in my opinion is definitely worth checking out :y: .
Here is a quote from the game site:

With its high-value team objectives, limited range projectiles, and intense maneuvering, Paintball 2 offers a very unique experience that will appeal to both hardcore and novice players. It only takes one shot to eliminate somebody, but the fast-paced, arcade-style movement from Quake 2 allows for quick dodging, insane jumps, and breakneck speeds. Best of all, the game is completely free, and it's a small download, so just try it out!
