(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Here is a link. Im on a small budget and found this. I don't really want to build my own because I know I will cock it up.
Tell me what you think this could play well. Hoping for games like BBC2 COD4, WOW etc..

Yeah, good CPU, RAM etc. Not sure about the graphics card, don't know much about that.

I bought one with a Phenom X6, 4GB RAM and this ATI radeon 5450 graphics card for about £360. I found out later from other people that my graphicsgh card would be not good enough for hi spec games such as Crysis 2, so I bought an nVidia Geforce GTX 460. It works brilliant, extremely happy with it. Smile

Your 5870 would be as good if not better than a GTX 460 lol

I like AMD just as much as I like Intel. Nothing's perfect, and it all depends on what I have to spend. :p I would take a 2500K over my Phenom II 970 X4 any day, though. =D

In regards to OP:

If you want to use CrossFire, stick with the 6870. If not, go for a 5870. Your motherboard won't be able to utilize CrossFire anyways, so unless you want to upgrade it in the near future, go for a 5870. They're better single cards, 6870s are better dual cards.

As for the CPU, if you have a little extra money, you could get an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T, it performs better and isn't too much higher in price (forty or fifty USD, dunno what that is in your currency. Dx).

Upgrade to 8GB of RAM as well, when you can. Not right away, of course, but you might as well use your mobo to the fullest. Awesome face

In regards to OP:

Change the GPU for a 5870. (I believe it would cost just as much.) They perform better. But if you're going to use CrossFire, keep the 6870 for later. :p

I'm not really liking the CPU, but it's completely up to you. 2.8GHz just sounds too weird, but that's just me.

You could always upgrade the processor later, and the RAM too. If you're going to use this thing for a long time, upgrade to 8GB of RAM. Not right away, of course. When you get the money.

Motherboard's specifications: You must login or register to view this content.

They're not too bad for a starter PC, but you'll obviously not be able to use CrossFire, so unless you want to upgrade your mobo in the future, go with a 5870.

Lol, so many upgrades needed. Why not just build a PC with the upgrades now op?
