Post: cod4 miles sound system error

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); when ever i try to load up call of duty 4 (steam bought) it comes up with
i have xp sp3

right now heres the bad part i have not got speakers i use head phones and i have got directX updated and also my sound card (that was a real b**** to do)

has anyone got any ideas or fixes, i have been surfing the net for 3 days now

ps i can run gmod, team fortress 2 and half-life 2 no problems



pss i also have problems with call of duty wolrd at war it start then crashs

Have you enabled stereo mix? I remember an issue with COD4 on Win 7

Easy method: Plug something in your mic jack

Other method: Right click the Sound icon in the task bar, open "recording devices", right click and click "show disabled devices". Now enable stereo mix
