No real need for anymore than 60fps due to the fact that the human eye can only account a difference until about 60fps, plus you can't get any higher than 60fps on a standard monitor (unless you have one with a higher response rate). Kinda silly though, my graphics card plays CoD4 at 100+ fps all the time.

Turn all settings on low and put the resolution to 800x600. Then go look for the yitch3.cfg. That will help you quite a bit. I play CoD4 on an Asus with i3 @2.27 and it runs fairly smooth when I feel like doing some jumps and practicing.

You may be able to run it in minimum details.
