First-person shooters don't even strike any interest in me, now that I've been gaming on the PC for quite a while. They're often too similar, and I only like them if they're hybrids now, to be honest.

By sticking with only shooters (not saying that you are, just saying generally), you're doing yourself a great disservice.

Some games that are fantastic and not plagued by the typical wash-rinse-repeat concept we always see today are Just Cause 2, Grand Theft Auto 4 (age doesn't matter), The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (which was a disappointment, but the player-made mods are fantastic), Fallout 3 (which I stayed away from, but I've played it on console, it's a good game) and the other Fallout games, BioShock 1/2, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Darksiders, and that doesn't even scratch the surface of the list of amazing games that are available on the PC.

There are also Indie Games (literally thousands), MMOs, and tech-demos that shouldn't be overlooked.

FPS-wise, there's Killing Floor, Left 4 Dead, A.V.A (free), Deus Ex (both of them.), STALKER, Metro 2033, and many other over-looked titles.

The following 2 users say thank you to Booshykins for this useful post:

Honestly Minecraft and Terraria I have over 400 hours put into those games even thought they don't take up much computer power

At least I can fight
Fallout without a doubt. It has so much replay value especially with all the amazing mods that come from the Nexus websites. If you want a game that you can play for ages or go through it again then RPG's are the answer.
