ITR is an incredible private server for many reasons. Featuring on the top of my list, as an active member of their community:

-extremely diverse player base. If you take two random players and ask them where they are from it is unlikely you'll ever get the same answer.

-almost blizzlike experience and gold rates. The server operates at a 3x rate, which is still very much blizzlike, allows time for enjoying the lore of World of Warcraft but also allows for a reasonably speedy arrival to 80.

-extraordinarily active community. The forums are flooded with new members and posts every day.

-it is a free private server. Nevertheless, for those who wish to help out, benefits are available to those who donate. Among them, Extra Talents, an Azeroth Drake to fly over Azeroth, an Azeroth Rocket, to fly over Azeroth with friends (it's a two-seater), and many, many more.

-active staff of volunteer GMs ready to help out quickly.

-very active PvP. All Battlegrounds and Arenas are working!

-constantly receiving fixes to bugs and updating the server.

-no advertising. The server is entirely ad-free.

-There are about 5000 active accounts, with 400-500 players on at a time.

-There is absolutely no voting. You may not vote and gain credit for doing so. This ensures that the server is more Blizzlike.
