the game in the video is one i have made so how have you played it??? , the controls atm are just arrow keys moving left, right , up and down

Add platforms and gravity. Make up = jump. Down = Drop down from a platform. Left + right = directional. Add platforms and maybe platforms that go up and down or left and right.

Then, for the distance you have moved to the right, you gain points. Say every 5 pixels = 1 point.
