It is a good game, but pretty time consuming, each game is like an hour if teams are decent.

Should I start playing this? I quit Runescape a long time ago, is this anything like it?

umm not really its a mmo not so much an rpg its kinda like your on a team of 5 and you vs a another team of 5 and you have to destroy the enimies base if your not really spending any time on a computer game and looking for a new one to play go try it out!

Coming from the DotA game, it's too noob friendly but fun to play if you have friends that don't like how "hard" DotA is
