PBE stands for Public Beta environment and it is open for people to use before patches. The reason this exists because if Riot would miss a bug, someone can find it in PBE. Althought you do not have to use it to test bugs, I use it to test out champs or see how different skins looks like because you get to start with 10k Influence Points and 3k Riot points and you recevie this amount every week.

• Test out different runes for different champions
  
• See how skins looks like in game
  
• Test out the new champions before they have been released
  

1. The first step is to register an PBE account You must login or register to view this content..
   
2. Now the download the PBE client You must login or register to view this content..
   
3. Launch the client and patch it.
   
4. Now login in to the account you created and start playing!
   

Note: When playing you must go through custom games rather than searching like usual.
