There is a private server for World of Warcraft called "Molten-WoW" (If you don't know what a private server is scroll down to the spoiler). Now this server has several Cataclysm servers (I believe 3, as well as 3 Lich King). Seeing as NGU is a bit quiet right now, I don't see any harm in everyone getting into a free game with interaction. What separates this from other private servers is mainly population. As in it isn't odd for 5,000 people to be on at a time (Very very high for a private server). Meaning you will run into people pretty frequently. Definitely worth giving a shot as it's summer and everyone currently has free time. If you have any questions about the game just ask.

What is a WoW private server

Basically it's a WoW server hosted off someone/something not Blizzard. Meaning no costs, you may donate though. No paying for expansions either.


If so, possibly starting a guild as well could be a good idea. So anyone in? If so I'm LeopardGecko on the frost server.

2. Run the .exe file in the WoW folder
3. Sign in using your account USERNAME (despite it saying email) and password
4. Select a Server
5. Your good to go

Im downloading right now proabley should put up a virus scan but i always wanted to get into a mmorpg but never wanted to pay!

well i have a basic Toshiba satellite with now speical graphics card and i can bearly watch 1080p movies depending on how my laptops feeling... I honestly just want my mac ):

I think you should be able to run it on low settings

It is by far the most popular, best maintained, etc... Server available as of right now with about 2700 people on a server at a given time.
