Simple, when you first start, always use a ADC (attack damage, carry) someone with Range, like Cait, Ashe. Lane at bot lane, tower hug, what i mean but that is stay near your tower, and kill the little minions that come out for gold, More gold = more items, more items = more champion kills, more champion kills = gg you've carried the game.

I started playing a few months ago. Word of advice: don't complain about people stealing kills, find out what type of champion you want to play: tank, magic, etc, read what each item does and upgrade items in that category based on the type of champion you have. Upgrade things that increase your damage spell (either q,w,e). Your alt is usually your most powerful move and sometimes have passives that you need to learn how to use. Use the combination of the spells wisely. Upgrade one of each of your spells AT LEAST. It's all strategy. My name on there is TheForeverDamned if you want to add me. (NA server)

I would start off with Co-op vs all, then get skilled a little bit then do Intermediate Co-op vs all, then go ahead and PVP and have some fun <3
