Okay spiritual successor given how the studio behind SimCity has now been closed down Maxis Emeryville. Maxis spin off studios are still open but projects unknown along with support for SimCity and Sims games.

Looks good but $30 is pricey for a indie game, ir would sell better at $15

The game is worth $30 simply for the great mod support from day one.

$30 is the sweet spot considering the quality of the game. It's not an early access 2D side scroll-er.

I've only ever played Cities: XL and it was a rather nice 'city building' game. Never ever did get a chance to play SimCity but honestly I think it's great that in the first 2 weeks of the release of Cities: Skylines that they have built up such a massive community that just advertises the game for them. It's their own self-advertising system! As a game developer myself, this is honestly a genius creation!

People are building such great stuff on Cities: Skylines in such little time and it's making the game look great. I really hope to play this game sometime soon!
