Back at the start of this year, Steam’s Hardware Survey showed that the GTX 970 had climbed the ladder to become the most popular graphics card amongst the users involved. Since then, we have had a slew of graphics card launches based on new architecture from both Nvidia and AMD but still, the GTX 970 appears to be the most popular GPU, according to this month’s Steam Hardware Survey.
Not every single Steam user takes part in the survey every month so that is worth keeping in mind when looking at the figures. Still, amongst participants, the GTX 970 was found in 5.03 percent of PCs, with the GTX 960 coming in second place, in 3.59 percent of systems.

mypc came with an msi 970 and upgraded to the evga 1070. i wanted the titan x and $1200 isnt worth it.

No. I considered it but the 480 is the same as a current 980. So there's not much point to it.

In most games there is no comparison. 480 is not equal to a 980

twice as fast, more vram idk what u mean sounds like a reasonable upgrade to me

Ive had my titan x for a while so i wont upgrade for a while. just getting my I7 and then ill be okay Smile

im still more or less suprised you have a titan x on a 6 core amd, thats pretty cringeworthy actually. like buying a lambo and parking it in front of a your public housing
