But PC gamers will have to wait a few more days for their fix.After a few changes and adjustments to its release date, No Man’s Sky will be released
on Steam this Friday (August 12th).
But there’s bad news those hoping to download the game from midnight on Thursday.Hello Games boss Sean Murray has revealed that the space
adventure likely won’t arrive until early evening on Friday.“The reality is that we're still here working on it right now,” he said of the
PC version and complaints about its belated release.
“There's no conspiracy, we're just racing to get all the extra options
and stuff we want. PS4 comes out tomorrow and we'll just try to pretend
it's a normal work day! Best guess right now is 6pm GMT on Friday, but
we'll keep you up to date as we get closer.”6pm GMT is actually 7pm BST, remember.

Friday evening works for me. I work until 19:00 US EST. So I wouldn't be able to play until I got off anyhow.
I just hope the PC community doesn't lay down like little bitches to Sean Murray saying it's not an MP game. I truly hope with in 2-4 weeks of launch we'll have a mod that fully implements MP with a party system and all, just to piss that guy off.

Eve wasn't supposed to have a trading community either. The dev said lol nah, the community said nah fuck you, and made it from a mod. Now it's thriving.
The community wants it to be MP, this game WILL be MP. It's not a matter of IF the mod will be made, it's when it will be made.

trading and multiplayer are different same could be said about the valve titles

MP is already built into the game though. It's MP, but it's not MP. You can see your friends on the galactic map. If they're willing to wait you CAN get to them.
The two streamers who couldn't see each other was a bug. They were supposed to be able to see each other.
This game is, and will have MP, rather it's dev supported or mod supported. Most likely the latter.
