(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi,
How much difference will 4GB ram and 8GB ram make to the average PC gamer? Say if I wanted to run FireFox, CoD BO and Cinema 4D at the same time, how much RAM will that take up? Does anyone seriously reccomend 8GB?
Thanks To Anyone Who Helps,
Gavin

Maggbot timeout!
Black Ops needs 2gigs of ram to run
Cinema 4D needs 1gig of ram to run
firefox is basically nothing

So for what your doing 4 gigs would work fine without a large difference. However if you add more programs, it will slow down. Also the latency and speed of the ram would make a difference.

Yeah, I think I'll get the 8GB RAM just in case... it's kind of off topic but I'm really not sure which graphics card to get... could someone have a look at You must login or register to view this content. and say which one will be (well) playable on pretty good quality of the graphics cards chosen on the average game, thanks if anyone does Happy

not only do you need ram for good performance you need a good processor, also why would you want run cinema 4d and black ops at the same time?

it's more a powerful cpu you would be wanting , ram does not really improve performance.
